The New Beast

About The New Beast

The Beast is Faded's solo base, which he spent a long time making as strong as possible against offline raids for its cost. It grows from a cheap, simple starter that can take a bunker early in the wipe. A raider faces at least three walls to reach the core loot and the tool cupboard. Faded notes that, because it is built for offline raids, its shooting floor is less suited to online defence. Building it takes 35,000 stone, 16,000 metal fragments and 365 high quality metal, and keeping it up costs about 12,000 stone, 5,000 metal fragments and 70 high quality metal a day.

Among the other solo bases on RustBaseDesign, it costs more to keep up than 70% of the 247 that list an upkeep cost and is about average on build cost.
