The Shark is Dragiyn's zerg base for groups of more than 18 players on 2x servers. He took a standard large footprint and added hidden shotgun traps, funnel walls, roof defences against attack helicopters, a wide-gap China wall and wide-gap inner peaks. He credits cohenn and Miami for some of the ideas. Building it takes 1,000 stone, 350,000 metal fragments and 5,000 high quality metal, and keeping it up costs about 500 stone, 8,900 metal fragments and 870 high quality metal a day.

Among the other large-group bases on RustBaseDesign, it costs more to build than 68% of the 35 that list a build cost and is cheaper to keep up than 94% of the 50 that list an upkeep cost.
